Q. Is this a con or can I actually get free electronics?

A. No its not a con and yes you can get free electronics. Check out the Proof page for more information from trusted sources, such as the BBC and CNN.

Q. How do these companies make any money by giving out free stuff?

A. The referral company is paid each time someone completes an offer, this is usually around £25-30, therefore if one person gets 12 referrals thats £300-360, an xbox 360 only costs £250 so thats over £50 profit per person to the referral company. The person who got the referrals gets a free xbox 360 and the company who pays the advertisers gets customers to try their product.

For example when someone signs up on 360.giveaway and completes the Lovefilm trial the giveaway network get £25-30, Love film gets a new customer with the possibility of them staying on and the referrer is on their way towards getting their new gift, then when the person has got the required number of referrals the giveaway network use part of their advertising revenue to pay for the xbox 360

Q. Can I have more than one account?

A. You can only sign up once per site, but say for example on the giveaway network where they have multiple sites on their network you can sign up on teh laptops and apple site.

Q. I live at home can my parents complete an offer for me?

A. Unfortunately they can't because they have the same address as you. The fraud prevention methods of these networks means that only one person can sign up per address, the reason for this is that they dont want the same person doing different offers to get referrals as this gains the companies who pay for the referrals no new customers.

Q. Can I show my friend how to sign up on my computer?

A. No, this is very important because you could have the same ip address and for the same reasons above could have your account banned.
